Career paths

At BORA, individuals with ambitions are supported both on a professional and on a personal level. We know that CVs aren’t always straightforward, that’s why we think beyond the scope of requirements for every application. What’s important is a personality that aligns with BORA, shares the company spirit, and is motivated. From students and apprentices to career starters and career changers, all new employees are a part of the BORA family from day one. Together, we share the vision of transforming the kitchen sector.

Career paths & entry opportunities

Specialist careers

Professional expertise is at the heart of our specialist careers. Specialists provide knowledge where it is needed, drive innovation and actively shape the future at BORA. Close collaboration with other specialist units gives rise to groundbreaking solutions, always striving to improve day after day.

Management careers

In the management career path our executives take responsibility for their employees, processes and the overall vision of BORA.

Career starters

Career starters and career changers actively help to shape the company from the very beginning, contributing with their own ideas and growing within their role.
It is also possible to start as a trainee: our twelve-month programme after completing college provides the opportunity to discover strengths and interests in different specialist areas.

We want young talents to move forward with us, grow with us and help to shape and evolve the company.

Studies

Future talents

Do you want to start your professional life in a modern, growth-oriented company? Then BORA’s just the place for you with a dynamic company culture, an extraordinary professional development scheme and an interesting product portfolio. With us, you can not only gain valuable practical experience alongside your studies or training, but also actively help to shape your own personal and professional development. Take the opportunity to become part of the BORA family.

Opportunities for students

Working students

Transform theory into practice

Would you like to put the theoretical knowledge from your studies into practice? Then apply to BORA as a working student. We give students the opportunity to gain initial work experience in different departments while they are still studying. Take a look at our options for working students or send us your speculative application and take the first step into your career at BORA.

Internship

Lay the cornerstone for your professional career

A work placement at BORA is the best opportunity to put into practice what you have learned at college in an international company. We offer work placements in almost all departments. From the very beginning, you will be entrusted with your own tasks and will be able to participate in projects. The minimum duration of an internship should be 16 weeks. We also prefer mandatory work placements through colleges. If you can’t find a suitable work placement, feel free to send us your speculative application.

Final Theses

Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis

Are you about to complete your studies and would prefer to write your dissertation about an exciting practical experience rather than basing it on theory? Preferably at BORA? In this case, we will be happy to receive your speculative application. We will then discuss possible options with our departments to find an interesting subject for you.

Apprenticeship

We support young talents

We offer our apprentices a 360-degree view of the world of BORA. They get to know our business units, try out all kinds of tasks through tailored training schemes and carry out their own projects – supported at all times by our apprenticeship supervisors. Apprentices progress onto the next department every two to four months. Apprentices are supported in their personal and professional development through regular feedback sessions.
